2. WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash, debit cards, Apple Pay and Zelle.
3. HOW LONG CAN I KEEP MY EXTENSIONS UP FOR?
We recommend not keeping your extensions for more than 4 weeks to avoid hair damage. If you plan on wearing your extensions for longer than that, we strongly recommend coming into the salon for a touch-up.
4. DO YOU REMOVE EXTENSIONS?
We do remove extensions at an hourly rate.
5. DOES MY HAIR HAVE TO BE SHAMPOOED & BLOW DRIED BEFORE COMING?
This is not a requirement, but it does decrease your service time. We offer shampoo services and a variety of treatments to strengthen and prepare your hair for extensions. Please be advised shampoo services are not included in the price for braids, and will result in an additional fee.
6. IS HAIR INCLUDED WITH THE SERVICE?
All Braid services are priced INCLUDING braiding hair! Most natural hair colors, ombre colors and some fashion colors are available. When booking an appointment you will be prompted to pick the color hair extensions you want.
7. I DON'T SEE THE HAIR COLOR I WANT ON THE LIST. DO YOU OFFER IT?
The Hollywood 3-Hour Braid Bar carries the following hair colors: 1, 1B, 2, 4, 27, 30 1B/27, 1B/30, 1B/27 Ombre, 1B/30 Ombre, and Foxy Silver Blend. If you do not see the color you want then we do not offer it.
8. DOES THE PRICE CHANGE IF I BRING MY OWN BRIADING HAIR IN?
The price does not change on services. If you plan on bringing you own hair, please call and verify that we can use the brand you want to purchase.
9. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
We strive to provide most services on 3 hours or less! Braids that are waist length or longer may require more time.
10. IS KHRYS PERFORMING MY BRAID SERVICE?
The Hollywood 3-Hour Braid Bar is powered by Monsta Beauty. While Khrys may not be available to personally service each client in the braid bar, she trained and works closely with each Braider on the team.
11. HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY BRAIDS?
Braids should be gathered into a loose ponytail at the top of the head and wrapped in a silk lined bonnet or head wrap for sleeping. Hair should still be moisturized daily using a leave in conditioner and oil based growth serum. Braids should be washed every two-three weeks.
12. CAN I SWIM IN MY BRAIDS?
Absolutely! The after care is what’s important. Make sure to thoroughly wash and conditioner your braids post any swimming. Braids need to dry completely to reduce the weight pulling on the hair follicle. Also, remember to moisturize your hair afterwards. Please be advised: fully submerging your braids into water may cause frizz.
